A refreshing and easy-to-make Peach Iced Tea that combines the sweetness of canned peaches with bold black tea, lightly sweetened with simple syrup and garnished with fresh mint. Perfect for hot days and serving two.

Ingredients

Tea Base

  • 1 bag Black Tea
  • 600 ml Water

Fruit and Sweetener

  • 6 halves Canned Peach
  • 3 tbsp Simple Syrup

Garnish

  • Fresh Mint (for garnish)
  • Ice (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Peaches: Dice 4 halves of canned peach into small pieces for mixing, and slice the remaining 2 halves for garnish. Set aside.
  2. Brew the Tea: Bring 200 ml of water to a boil then pour over the black tea bag. Allow it to steep for 10 minutes to extract a strong, flavorful tea.
  3. Combine Tea and Water: Remove the tea bag from the brewed tea, then add the remaining 400 ml of water to dilute the tea to the desired strength.
  4. Assemble the Drink: In each serving glass, place half of the diced peaches and 3 tablespoons of simple syrup. Add ice until the glass is half full.
  5. Add Garnishes and Fill: Add sliced peaches and fresh mint to the glass, and then add ice until the glass is full.
  6. Final Touch and Serve: Garnish the top with additional sliced peach and fresh mint leaves. Serve the peach iced tea immediately for a cold, refreshing beverage.

Notes

  • Use canned peaches that are packed in juice or light syrup for best flavor.
  • Adjust the amount of simple syrup based on your preferred sweetness level.
  • Steeping the tea longer intensifies the tea flavor but avoid over-steeping to prevent bitterness.
  • This recipe serves 2 but can be easily scaled up for larger quantities.
  • For a chilled drink faster, you can refrigerate the brewed tea before assembling.
