This refreshing homemade celery juice recipe combines crisp celery, tangy lime, and sweet green apple for a nutritious and revitalizing drink. Perfect as a morning energizer or a healthy hydration boost, this juice can be made using a juicer or blender and is simple to prepare in just minutes.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches celery (cleaned, chopped)
  • 1 lime (chopped, skin on or off as preferred)
  • 1 green apple (cored, chopped)
  • ½ cup water (only if using blender)

Instructions

  1. Prep the celery: Trim the top and bottom ends of the 2 bunches of celery. Thoroughly wash each stalk under running water, scrubbing gently with your fingers to remove any dirt or debris.
  2. Juicing method: If using a juicer, feed the 2 bunches of chopped celery, chopped lime (skin on or off), and chopped green apple through the juicer's feeding tube. No additional water is needed. Serve the juice immediately or refrigerate in a sealed jar to serve chilled.
  3. Blending method: If using a high-powered blender, combine the chopped celery, lime with skin removed for smoother flavor, chopped green apple, and ½ cup of water. Blend thoroughly for 2-3 minutes until smooth. Pour the blended mixture through a nut milk bag or fine mesh strainer to remove all pulp. Serve immediately or store the juice in a lidded container in the refrigerator and consume within 3 days.

Notes

  • Using lime with skin on in the juicer adds extra nutrients; for blending, removing skin reduces bitterness.
  • If you prefer pulp in your juice, you can skip straining when blending.
  • Store juice in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 3 days for optimal freshness.
  • Adding water is only necessary when blending to aid smooth consistency.
