This Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Dip is a creamy, spicy appetizer perfect for parties and game day. Made with shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar, ranch dressing, and Frank’s Buffalo Wings sauce, it slowly cooks in a crockpot to blend flavors and create the ultimate dip for chips or veggies.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 4 cups (560g) cooked chicken, shredded
  • 16 ounce block (450g) cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup (83g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup (105g) ranch dressing
  • ¾ cup (176g) Frank’s Buffalo Wings sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Place the cooked shredded chicken, cubed cream cheese, half of the shredded cheddar cheese, buffalo wings sauce, and ranch dressing into the crockpot.
  2. Cook in Crockpot: Cover with the lid and cook on high for 1-2 hours or on low for 3-4 hours. Stir every 30 minutes to ensure the mixture heats evenly and the cheeses melt thoroughly.
  3. Add Remaining Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese on top and cook for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese has melted completely.
  4. Serve: Once melted and heated through, scoop the dip into a serving dish and enjoy with chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • You can use rotisserie chicken or leftover cooked chicken for convenience.
  • If you prefer a spicier dip, add more Buffalo sauce to taste.
  • Stirring regularly helps prevent the cheese from sticking or burning on the sides of the crockpot.
  • This dip can be kept warm in the crockpot on the low setting for serving over extended periods.
  • For a thicker dip, reduce the amount of ranch dressing slightly.
