  • 2/3 cup sour cream
  • 12 ounces shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 5 ounces shredded Parmesan cheese

Vegetables and Aromatics

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 ounces marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • Sliced chives for garnish

Seasonings

  • Kosher salt
  • Fresh cracked pepper

For Serving

  • My easy crostini recipe or sliced French baguette

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the dip.
  2. Blend the base: Crumble the block of feta cheese into a food processor. Add the sour cream, minced garlic, and a few large pinches of kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper. Process until the mixture is smooth, creamy, and well combined.
  3. Mix in additional ingredients: Transfer the creamy feta mixture into a large bowl. Fold in the chopped marinated artichoke hearts, half of the shredded mozzarella cheese, and all the shredded Parmesan cheese until everything is evenly mixed.
  4. Assemble the dip: Spread the combined mixture evenly into a 9x9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese on top to create a cheesy crust.
  5. Bake the dip: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the cheese on top is melted and starting to brown.
  6. Broil for golden topping: For 1 to 2 minutes, broil the dip to achieve a dark golden brown, bubbly top. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.
  7. Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven, sprinkle sliced fresh chives over the dip for a fresh flavor and attractive garnish. Serve warm with crispy crostini or slices of French baguette.
  8. Enjoy and rate: Serve immediately and enjoy this creamy, flavorful dip. If you love it, consider leaving a 5-star rating and review.

Notes

  • Use whole milk mozzarella for the best melt and flavor.
  • Make sure to drain and chop the artichoke hearts well to prevent excess liquid in the dip.
  • Keep a close watch during broiling as the cheese can burn quickly.
  • This dip can be made ahead and baked just before serving.
  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes when mixing the ingredients.
