Ingredients

Chocolate

  • 150 g dark melting chocolate
  • 150 g white melting chocolate

Fresh Fruits

  • 750 g strawberries
  • 400 g cherries
  • 125 g raspberries

Sweets and Chocolates

  • 150 g nougat
  • 16 mini candy canes
  • 200 g apricot coconut balls
  • 8 chocolate truffles
  • 20 Ferrero Rocher chocolates
  • 20 Raffaello chocolates
  • 200 g Jaffa lollies

Nuts

  • 40 g chopped pistachios

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolates: Gently melt the dark and white melting chocolates in separate heatproof bowls over a simmering water bath or in short bursts in the microwave, stirring frequently until smooth and glossy.
  2. Prepare the fruit: Wash and pat dry strawberries, cherries, and raspberries. Hull the strawberries if desired. Ensure the fruit is dry to help the chocolate adhere better.
  3. Arrange the platter: On a large serving plate or tray, artfully arrange the strawberries, cherries, raspberries, nougat pieces, candy canes, apricot coconut balls, chocolate truffles, Ferrero Rocher, Raffaello chocolates, and Jaffa lollies to create an inviting and festive look.
  4. Decorate with chocolate: Drizzle the melted dark and white chocolates over the arranged fruits and sweets, creating beautiful patterns. Alternatively, you can dip some of the fruits partially into the melted chocolate before placing them back on the platter.
  5. Finish with nuts: Sprinkle the chopped pistachios over the chocolate drizzles to add texture and a burst of color that complements the festive theme.
  6. Chill and serve: Place the platter in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes to allow the chocolate to set slightly. Serve chilled or at room temperature for a delightful dessert or party centerpiece.
