These Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Yogurt Pops are a deliciously creamy and healthy frozen treat combining rich cocoa, natural peanut butter, and ripe bananas with Greek yogurt and milk. Perfect for a refreshing snack or dessert, they are easy to prepare with just a blender and popsicle molds.

Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (whole milk or 2% recommended)
  • 2 ripe bananas

Flavorings

  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional

  • Melted chocolate for drizzling over frozen popsicles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend Ingredients: Place the milk, Greek yogurt, ripe bananas, cocoa powder, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a blender. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
  2. Fill Popsicle Molds: Pour the blended mixture evenly into popsicle molds. Insert popsicle sticks into each mold carefully so they stand upright.
  3. Freeze: Place the filled molds in the freezer. Freeze until the popsicles are solid, which takes at least 4 to 6 hours. For best results, freeze overnight.
  4. Optional Drizzle: Once the popsicles are fully frozen and removed from molds, drizzle melted chocolate over them for added flavor and decoration if desired.

Notes

  • Use ripe bananas for the best natural sweetness and creaminess.
  • Greek yogurt provides protein and a thick texture; whole milk or 2% milk keeps the pops creamy.
  • Adjust the sweetness with honey or maple syrup to your preference.
  • Ensure popsicles are fully frozen before serving to prevent melting.
  • You can substitute peanut butter with almond or cashew butter if preferred.
  • Melted chocolate drizzle is optional but adds a nice finishing touch.
