Delight in these easy-to-make Cheesecake Jars that combine a crunchy graham cracker crust with a smooth, creamy cheesecake filling. Perfect for quick desserts or individual servings, these jars can be topped with your favorite sauces like strawberry or caramel for an extra burst of flavor.

Ingredients

Crust

  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

Cheesecake Filling

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Toppings (Optional)

  • Strawberry sauce for serving
  • Caramel sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a small bowl. Mix until the texture resembles wet sand. Divide this crust mixture evenly into 2 large jars or 4 small jars, pressing lightly to form an even layer. Place the jars in the refrigerator to set while preparing the filling.
  2. Whip the Cream: Use a stand mixer with a whisk attachment to beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Once whipped, remove from the bowl and set aside.
  3. Make the Cheesecake Mixture: In the same mixing bowl, add cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps. Gently fold in the whipped cream by hand into this cream cheese mixture, preserving its airy texture.
  4. Assemble the Jars: Spoon or pipe the cheesecake filling into the jars over the set crust layer. Smooth the tops gently. Refrigerate the jars for 1-2 hours to allow the cheesecake to set and firm up.
  5. Serve: Before serving, optionally top with whipped cream, fresh fruit, or your choice of strawberry or caramel sauce for an added burst of flavor.

Notes

  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easier mixing and a smoother texture.
  • Chilling the crust well before adding the filling helps maintain a firmer base for the cheesecake jars.
  • Folding the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture gently ensures a light and fluffy cheesecake filling.
  • These cheesecake jars can be prepared a day ahead and refrigerated until ready to serve.
  • Use piping bags for a cleaner and more decorative filling presentation if desired.
